As announced on May 10, 2009 the new worship center is completely paid for. We praise God for how He has worked through His people, and we thank the leadership over the last three years in their commitment to build debt-free.
For those who don't know, Central has no debt. All of our facilities are completely paid for, so this has permitted our congregation to be heavily invested in ministry, outreach, helping our own in need, and helping those around us who struggle in tough economic times.
Thank you, Lord, for your blessing and faithfulness. We commit to remain faithful stewards of your provision.

In the 1970's, Marilyn Coon was teaching a junior
high/senior high class that planted a pine tree on the
property between Central and the Echols school
building. That tree grew into a 25-foot-tall pine that
ultimately had to be removed during the construction
of the new worship center.
The lumber from that tree was salvaged and made
into a beautiful 8-foot cross by George Harris. The
cross was presented on Sunday, January 11, 2009 in
honor and recognition of the years of dedicated
service Harv and Marilyn Coon have given to the Lord
and to Central. Hundreds, if not thousands of
people have been pointed to the cross by the
influence of Harv and Marilyn, and this new cross will
find its home at center stage in the new Worship
Center.
Harv and Marilyn, we love you and appreciate you
and your example in loving and serving our Lord
Jesus Christ.
Our 2nd annual "Church in the Park" was a huge success. Located at Wells Lake on Fort Chaffee, the day included morning worship service, a chicken and catfish fry, fishing derby and other games.
