Our Philosophy:
The Word of God is Sufficient
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
(John 1:1-2)
The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.
(Isaiah 40:8)
Our Purpose:
To Love the Lord our God with all our Heart, Soul, Strength and Mind, and to Love our Neighbors as Ourselves, and to Love Each Other
"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and
with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
(Mark 12:29-31)
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
(John 13:34)
Our Mission:
To Bring In, Build Up, Send Out
Then Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
(Matthew 28:18-20)
Our Core Values:
Under the authority of the Word of God, these areas guide our efforts and resources
Community, Equipping / Discipling, Family, Kingdom-Minded, Outreach (Personal, Local, Global), Prayer, Lifestyle Worship
Our Vision:
We will reach those Outside of Christ or Outside of Fellowship. We will Take Care of Each Other. We will be Actively Engaged in Ministry Outside the Walls.
We want to bring the Kingdom of God everywhere Central has influence. God is using the body here to reach those outside of Christ, and also providing healing and re-engagement to those who for whatever reason are outside of fellowship. That's the kind of church Central is.
We are committed to take care of each other. It's the example of the New Testament church.
We have a vision that everyone is involved in ministry outside the walls of the church building. We are the body of Christ, and we're his hands and feet to a lost world around us.
